Kempsey Powerhouse Motel

Welcome to the Kempsey Powerhouse Motel. Positioned on the Pacific Highway 5 kilometres south of the township of Kempsey diagonally across the road from the new Slim Dusty Centre due for completion at the end of the year and halfway between Sydney & Brisbane.

Now under new management. Your hosts, Tracy and Martin are country folk. They understand and deliver country hospitality at every opportunity to ensure your stay is enjoyable. They provide clean accommodation for your comfort.

Situated in the magnificent Macleay Valley, a short distance from pristine beaches at Crescent Head, Hat Head and South West Rocks. Beautiful scenic drives including visits to local vineyards and Nulla Creek, just a pleasant drive to the boyhood property of Slim Dusty - country music legend, and onto the pub with no beer.

Set back from the highway in 5 acres of bushland with native birds, resident kangaroos, possums and goannas.  Tracy also boasts a lovely collection of poultry.  Featuring the rare breed, "Orpington", a large, soft feathered fowl.

Planned for construction are yards to hold horses overnight, but in the meantime guests are welcomed to put up their own panels so their mount can rest safely close by.
